Manage My Cards
Instantly turn off a lost or stolen card with Manage My Cards inside the BOS Mobile App. Simply choose your card and Turn on Block Card. All transactions will be temporarily blocked except pending and recurring transactions.
Custom Debit Cards While You Wait
Need a new BOS debit card? No problem! Just stop by any of our branch locations and our personal bankers will be happy to issue your new debit card while you wait. You will select your Personal Identification Number (PIN) when your card is issued so no more delays waiting for your PIN to arrive in the mail. If you want to personalize your card with a photo, you can email us your .jpg file and we’ll customize your card with your photograph. Certain photos are restricted. Fee does apply. Using a BOS Debit or Credit Card While Traveling
When you notify us that you are traveling, we will clear your card for purchases abroad. This will prevent your card from being rejected due to suspected fraud. To notify us call 1-877-698-3278. Or, if you prefer, call any local BOS branch.
Bank Card Security
If you have a lost or stolen ATM or debit card, call 1-800-554-8969. The next business day after reporting your card lost or stolen, contact the Bank of Springfield at (217) 241-HELP.
Bank of Springfield and VISA have implemented a new automated notification service to alert customers when abnormal activity is detected on your VISA Debit and Credit Card. When an unusual spending pattern is identified, a customer service representative will contact you. Once your identity is confirmed, you will be prompted to confirm the reported transactions as legitimate or suspect. This system is in place to protect our cardholders from fraud. If you plan on traveling out of state and using your VISA Debit or Credit card, please notify the bank ahead of time. This helps VISA recognize that your transactions are valid.
