If you’re like most people there’s never enough hours in your day to accomplish everything you need to do. Online Banking with BOS will make your day easier by helping you maintain your accounts, transfer money, pay bills and more – all from the convenience of your home, office or anywhere you have an Internet connection.

The best part – Online Banking is a free service at BOS.

View Account Balances
With Online Banking you can monitor your BOS accounts literally anytime day or night. You’ll have the ability to see which checks or debits have cleared and check for interest that has posted to your account. You can balance your account with ease by spotting missed check numbers or transactions, and print cleared checks for your own records.

Transfer Funds
Online Banking allows you to quickly and simply transfer money between your accounts. If you schedule a one time or recurring transfer, you’ll receive a confirmation message, so you know the transfer has processed properly. BOS mortgage or installment loan payments may be made online. You can set up a regularly scheduled transfer or payment for an exact day of the month.

With Online Banking, you can also transfer money between your BOS accounts and other financial institutions. This is especially helpful if you need to send money to a child away at school, or to family and friends across the globe.

Would you like to be notified if your checking account falls below a certain balance? With eAlerts you can select this helpful feature for any of your BOS accounts. It’s a great way to avoid bouncing checks, falling below minimum balances as well as being alerted to any fraudulent activity on your account.

Checkfree Bill Payment
Perhaps the most time and cost saving component to Online Banking is the Checkfree bill payment feature. For one time and recurring monthly payments, simply enter the amount you want to pay next to the payee’s name, select the date you want the payment to be received and click the “Make Payments” button. Yes, it’s really that easy. BOS guarantees delivery of funds and resolves payment disputes with vendors. You’ll receive automatic email alerts when bills are received and payments are sent. You can receive and store bills from select payees electronically.

Pay People with Popmoney
Popmoney is an easy, fast and secure online personal payment service that lets you send and receive money to and from others - directly from your BOS account. With Popmoney, you can send money to almost anyone - anytime, anywhere in the U.S.! All you need is their name, and either an email address or mobile phone number. Click on the Pay People tab inside Checkfree Bill Payment for details.

Receiving your monthly financial statements online not only reduces clutter and storage space, but it’s safer too. Your financial statements are vulnerable to being stolen or opened when sent via regular mail, but online your statements are password protected.

You can choose which accounts to register for eStatements by clicking on the User Options link in the upper right hand corner of the online banking home screen. After that, we’ll send you an email each month letting you know when your statement is ready for download. To retrieve a statement, click on the eStatements tab in the online banking menu bar.



Mobile Banking

With BOS Mobile Banking, you can securely access your accounts from your mobile phone by mobile browsing, text message or mobile banking app.

Mobile Phone Browser
View account transactions, transfer funds, pay bills and more from our mobile banking site. Login to Online Banking and select the User Options menu to register your mobile phone.

Text Messaging
You can have balance or transaction information sent to your mobile phone via text message. Text your request for periodic updates or sign up for daily balance alerts. Visit the Online Banking User Options to receive a list of text commands or register for alerts.


Mobile Deposit

Mobile deposit is a feature of the BOS Mobile Banking App. This free feature allows you to deposit a check into your account just by using your smart phone camera.

Tips on Mobile Deposit

  • The Deposits icon is located at the bottom of the mobile app screen.
  • Sign/Endorse the back of your check. We recommend you label it "For Mobile Deposit Only."
  • When prompted, carefully enter the check amount to ensure it matches the amount written on your check.
  • Flatten folded or crumpled checks before taking the photo.
  • Make sure that the entire check image is visible and in focus before submitting your deposit.
  • Make sure that all four corners of the check are visible and in focus before submitting your deposit.
  • Make sure the check image is clear and not blurry.
  • Make sure the MICR line (numbers on the bottom of your check) is readable.
  • Place the check on a solid background before taking a photo.
  • Try not to get too much of the areas surrounding the check.
  • Take the photos of your check in a well-lit area.
  • Hold the camera as square to the check as possible to reduce corner to corner skew.
  • Shred or destroy the check after it is credited to your account.
