Reporting Fraud
This 24 Hour Fraud Resource is designed to guide you on how to report fraud on your account, contacting BOS, and steps you can take now.
If you’re experiencing fraud on your account, including unauthorized transactions, stolen cards, or your account has been accessed, there are steps you can take through your BOS Online and Mobile Banking account before calling the bank.
Scammers know that your bank is trying to protect you from fraud and imitate our communication in an attempt to take advantage of you. We are committed to keeping your personal information safe and secure and it’s important that you’re taking the necessary precautions to do the same.

If You Believe Your Identity Has Been Stolen
Action: Place a credit freeze via the three main credit reporting bureaus: Equifax, TransUnion, and Experian. You should also contact the merchant where the fraud occurred and notify BOS on the next business day so we can make a note on your account. Identity Theft can also be reported to the Federal Trade Commission at IdentityTheft.gov.
