Celebrating Our July Employee of the Month!

For 26 years we have had an incredible person at BOS that has always shown dedication, warmth, and leadership at our Stevenson Branch. We are incredibly proud to announce Sidney R., Assistant Branch Manager of our Stevenson branch, as our July Employee of the Month!

For more than two and a half decades, she has been the smiling face and steady hand that our Stevenson customers rely on. Sidney's passion for community banking comes down to a genuine care for helping people and her willingness to keep learning more every single day.

We sat down with her to dive into her wisdom, how she tackles tough situations, and why she still finds inspiration in the team around her.

How do you approach problem-solving when helping customers?

The most important thing to do is listen. You may think you know right away what the customer needs. They may even think they know what they need. If you listen to them, you may hear a clue as to what is really going on.

What part of your work do you find most rewarding?

Helping customers solve problems. When a customer comes in with any issue that they need help with, I feel just as good as they do when it’s solved.

Who has been your biggest inspiration at BOS?

Most everyone at BOS. I try to get as much information as possible from anyone I can. I’m learning a lot these days from the younger employees.
