January 2026 Employee of the Month: Amber O.

We are thrilled to kick off 2026 by celebrating Amber O. as our January Employee of the Month! Amber’s dedication, positivity, and thoughtful approach to her work make her an exceptional member of our BSA team. As part of the BSA department, which ensures the bank’s compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act, Amber plays an important role in supporting our institution’s regulatory responsibilities. Her teamwork, empathy, and willingness to support others are just a few of the qualities that set her apart.

What does teamwork mean to you, and how do you contribute to it?

Teamwork means a lot to me, especially in the BSA department. I try to keep an open communication line to everyone in the front and back offices in case anyone has a question about anything at all. I try to contribute to it by always being available either via Teams, email, or phone. I enjoy helping others when they need it as well as brainstorming different ideas with the fraud team.

What is the best part of working at BOS for you?

My favorite thing about BOS is the people, no matter where you are or what branch you are in. Everyone is typically always welcoming and very nice, I have found a few lifelong friends here at BOS.

What advice would you give to someone starting in your role?

The best advice to give someone in my role is to remember to give people grace. We are all humans and we can all make mistakes.
