It is with great pride that we announce Dominique W. as the 2025 BOS Employee of the Year! Dominique has been with BOS since 2013, exemplifying what it means to be dedicated and committed to excellence in her role.
Growth and Dedication
She began her journey as a teller. Over the years, it has grown through a variety of roles, each building her expertise and impact across BOS. Today, Dominique leads our Fraud Department, where she has helped build a strong team and enhance the resources we provide both internally and throughout our #BOSCommunity!
This experience has allowed me to bring all my past experiences together in understanding regulations and critical thinking to handle fraud. It has allowed me to grow a team and department from new. I am very proud of what we have built and the resources we provide internally and externally.

I try to approach every interaction with empathy, and bring a high-energy, curious spirit to every task. I hold myself to a standard of excellence and try to maintain that in even the smallest tasks.

What Makes a Great Teammate
Dominique believes that a great teammate stays curious, takes ownership, and leads with honesty.
A great teammate doesn't wear "armor" to protect themselves. They lean into discomfort, stay curious- focusing on learning instead of knowing, and owning their part when things go wrong. They practice “clear is kind” because they believe that being clear about expectations, feedback, and feelings is the kindest thing you can do for the team's success.

A Meaningful Recognition
Receiving an award that all of my coworkers voted on makes me feel highly appreciated and valued at BOS. More than the award itself, all the kind words used to describe me, and highlight that I do everything with genuine care in my heart is the best thing I could hope to be remembered by.

Looking Ahead
Dominique is excited to continue growing the Fraud Department at BOS. Looking ahead in 2026, she plans to implement a BOS Fraud Committee and expand BOS fraud awareness efforts to help protect those in our community. Dominique’s leadership, dedication, and genuine care make her an invaluable part of BOS.
