At BOS, our biggest asset has always been our people. Today, we are thrilled to celebrate a team member who embodies that community spirit every day. Join us in celebrating Jessica L., our Employee of the Month for May!

Jessica is a Deposit Operations Representative and Wire Agent who has been an integral part of the #BOSFamily for eight years. Her dedication, adaptability, and positive attitude make her a true cornerstone of our team.

We caught up with Jessica to celebrate her journey, explore what she loves most about BOS, and highlight how she eagerly embraced an opportunity to grow her skills.

The Best Part of BOS? The People.

Spending eight years at BOS is an incredible milestone, and Jessica credits her longevity to the supportive friendships she has made along the way.

My favorite thing about BOS is the people honestly, everyone I’ve had the pleasure of meeting has always been kind and extremely welcoming.

    

I truly believe that we have an amazing group of people who are going to be there for you when you need it the most and that is a very important thing for me specifically.

    

I’ve made such amazing friends the 8 years I’ve been with the bank, and I wouldn’t trade any of them for the world.

Rising to the Occasion through Cross-Training

In the banking world, operations must remain seamless, no matter what happens behind the scenes.

Recently, the Deposit Operations department faced a busy period. Instead of stepping back, Jessica saw an opportunity to grow and support her colleagues by diving headfirst into intensive cross-training.

During that time, I had the opportunity to learn new responsibilities, including processing wire transfers and supporting additional operational tasks. Being cross trained allowed me to step in where needed and contribute to the team’s success during a busy period even if it all happened quickly.

    

It has been incredibly rewarding to expand my skill set, gain a broader understanding of our operations, and know that I can provide support in multiple areas when needed.
